iPhone 15 / 16 USB-C Charging Port — What You Need to Know
The iPhone 15 and 16 series use USB-C instead of Lightning — Apple switched to USB-C in 2023. USB-C ports are generally more durable than Lightning, but they can still accumulate debris or get damaged.
We offer two levels of repair:
- Port service (£39) — we clean out debris, check the pins, and test charging. Fixes most issues.
- Full replacement (£85–£100) — we install a new genuine Apple USB-C charging port assembly when the original is damaged.
We'll always try the service first — if that doesn't fix it, you only pay the difference for the full replacement.
What Happens During the Repair
- 1. Free diagnosis — we inspect the port and test charging
- 2. Port service or replacement — servicing takes 15–20 mins; full replacement takes 45–60 mins
- 3. Testing — charging, data transfer, and audio all tested
- 4. You're done — pay on collection, warranty included
Your data stays completely untouched.
