The iPhone X and XS use OLED displays (Super Retina), while the iPhone XR uses an LCD display (Liquid Retina). This means:
- iPhone X / XS — Budget LCD is affordable but differs from original OLED; Premium OLED matches original quality
- iPhone XR — Quality LCD matches the original display type perfectly
- iPhone XS Max — larger 6.5-inch OLED, same options as XS
