1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and New Forest Device Repairs ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our device repair services, whether in-store, on-site, or through our website at newforestdevicerepairs.co.uk (the "Site").

New Forest Device Repairs provides repair services for various electronic devices, including but not limited to mobile phones, tablets, computers, and laptops. Our services include:

3. Repair Process
3.1 Diagnostic Assessment
Before commencing any repair work, we will conduct a diagnostic assessment of your device to identify the issue(s). We will provide you with a quote based on this assessment.
3.2 Repair Authorization
By leaving your device with us or authorizing remote repair services, you are authorizing us to perform the necessary repairs as discussed. We will not proceed with any repairs without your explicit consent.
3.3 Repair Timeframe
We strive to complete repairs as quickly as possible, with many repairs completed on the same day. However, repair times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue, parts availability, and workload. We will provide you with an estimated timeframe for completion.
3.4 Parts and Components
We use high-quality parts for all repairs. Depending on availability and your preference, we may use original manufacturer parts, high-quality aftermarket parts, or refurbished parts. We will inform you of the type of parts being used for your repair.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Quotes and Estimates
All quotes provided are estimates based on our initial assessment. If additional issues are discovered during the repair process that would affect the price, we will contact you for approval before proceeding with any additional work.
4.2 Diagnostic Fee
A diagnostic fee may apply for complex issues. This fee will be deducted from the final repair cost if you proceed with the repair.
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Full payment is required upon completion of the repair and before the device is returned to you.
4.4 Price Match
We offer a price match guarantee for identical repair services using the same quality parts. If you find a lower price from a competitor, please provide us with the competitor's quote, and we will do our best to match or beat their price.
5. Warranty Policy
5.1 Warranty Coverage
All repairs come with a 90-day warranty covering parts and labor. This warranty covers defects in the parts used and workmanship but does not cover:
- Physical damage occurring after the repair
- Water damage occurring after the repair
- Software issues unrelated to the repair
- Issues caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Normal wear and tear
5.2 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, please contact us and provide your repair receipt or order number. We will assess the device to determine if the issue is covered under warranty.
5.3 Warranty Remedies
If a repair is covered under warranty, we will, at our discretion, either:
- Repair the device again at no additional cost
- Replace the defective part
- Provide a refund for the cost of the repair
6. Device Data and Privacy
6.1 Data Backup
You are responsible for backing up any data stored on your device before submitting it for repair. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process.
6.2 Data Privacy
We respect your privacy and will not access, copy, or use any personal data stored on your device except as necessary to perform the requested repairs or with your explicit permission. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle personal information.
6.3 Device Passcodes
If your device is protected by a passcode, pattern, or biometric lock, you may need to provide us with access to perform certain repairs. We will handle this information securely and delete it once the repair is complete.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the repair service.
7.2 Exclusion of Damages
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- The repair or attempted repair of your device
- Inability to repair your device
- Any data loss or corruption
- Any unauthorized access to your personal information
7.3 High-Risk Activities
Our repair services are not designed or intended for use in high-risk activities where device failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe environmental damage.
8. Unclaimed Devices
Devices left for repair must be collected within 30 days of being notified that the repair is complete. After this period, we will attempt to contact you using the information provided. If the device remains unclaimed for 90 days, we reserve the right to consider the device abandoned and may dispose of or recycle it in accordance with applicable laws.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of New Forest Device Repairs or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
